A reverse projection of the market place, set in the early 70s, on a Saturday teatime. It features a couple of the buildings that no longer stand. Gills was was a department store, later demolished and replaced by a more modern building which became home to Hintons and many other shops over the years. And the Happy Valley Restaurant features largely in the memories of family and friends. I have a keen affinity for historic vehicles, and wanted to acknowledge the ones that stood out to me from that time. Once again, I wanted to celebrate the energy of the thriving town, people, shops, buses.
